These terms explain how ID1 Verify works and what to expect when you use this website. By using id1verify.co.uk or booking through us, you agree to these terms. Last updated: 3 August 2026.
Who we are
ID1 Verify is operated by Computer Troubleshooters Redbridge Limited (company no. 09184717), registered at Suite 1, Office No.1, 12 Chapel Road, Ilford, Greater London, IG1 2AG.
What this service is
ID1 Verify is a booking service. We are not a law firm and we do not carry out identity verification ourselves. Instead, we connect you with an independent, SRA-regulated solicitor who carries out your ID1, ID2 or ID5 verification appointment.
Nothing on this website is legal advice. If you need legal advice about your property transaction, speak to your conveyancer or solicitor directly.
How booking works
When you contact us by WhatsApp or email, we take a few basic details and pass them to a solicitor who can carry out your verification. The solicitor then contacts you directly to arrange your appointment, confirm the fee, and collect your identity documents through their own secure process.
Once we’ve made the introduction, your appointment, and the verification itself, is between you and the solicitor. They are responsible for the service they provide to you.
Referral fees
If you go on to book an appointment with a solicitor we’ve introduced you to, we may receive a referral fee or commission from that solicitor. This is standard practice for introducer services and does not affect the price you pay for your verification appointment.
Pricing and payment
Guide prices are shown on our Pricing page. Some services, such as ID2 verification or appointments outside the UK, are quote-based because the fee depends on your specific circumstances. Your solicitor will confirm the exact fee and payment arrangements with you directly before your appointment.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Once your appointment is booked, any changes, cancellations or rescheduling are handled directly with your solicitor, under their own terms. If you’re not sure who to contact, message us and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Our responsibility to you
We take reasonable care to introduce you to solicitors who are properly SRA-regulated — you can check the SRA register yourself at any time. However, because the verification appointment itself is carried out by an independent solicitor and not by us, we are not responsible for the advice, service or conduct of the solicitor during your appointment.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to our role as an introducer. This does not affect your legal rights, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud.
If something goes wrong
If your concern is about your verification appointment, your documents, or the solicitor’s conduct, this should be raised with the solicitor directly. Every SRA-regulated solicitor has their own complaints process, and if you remain unhappy after raising it with them, you can contact the Legal Ombudsman or the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
If your concern is about this website or how we handled your enquiry, contact us at hello@id1verify.co.uk and we’ll do our best to help.
