About Mudassar

Mudassar Choudhary is the founder of ID1 Verify, which he built and continues to run directly — including the guides and identity-verification content published on this site. He connects people who do not already have a solicitor acting for them with SRA-regulated solicitors for HM Land Registry ID1, ID2 and ID5 verification by video call. He is also the director of Computer Troubleshooters Redbridge Limited, an IT support company.

Mudassar is the author of two books. The most recent, EPC C by 2030: The Small Landlord’s Compliance Guide (2026), is a plain-English guide for private landlords preparing for the band C energy standard. It covers reading an EPC, which improvements are worth paying for, grants, exemptions, and planning work around a tenant, using one of his own rental houses as the running example. It is available in paperback (ISBN 978-1-0369-7770-2) and on Kindle.

His first book, Beyond the Hype: A Content Creator’s Guide to Thriving in the Post-AI-Cost-Crash Economy, looks at how small, content-driven businesses can adapt as AI reshapes the digital economy. He writes and speaks on the same theme elsewhere, including a LinkedIn article, “They Said AI Was Cheap. The Bill Just Came Due.” Both books are listed on his Amazon author page.

ID1 Verify exists because HM Land Registry’s identity checks can be one of the more confusing parts of a property transaction for anyone without a solicitor already acting for them. So Mudassar built the site to make that one specific step simple, remote, and properly regulated — booked in minutes rather than chased down through a local solicitor’s office.

Why This Site Is Written by a Real Person

Every guide on ID1 Verify — from transfer of equity to probate, power of attorney, and verifying from overseas — is written and kept current by Mudassar, checked against HM Land Registry’s own published guidance rather than published once and left to go stale.

Computer Troubleshooters Redbridge Limited, the company behind ID1 Verify, is based in Ilford and is a member of the Redbridge Chamber of Commerce and the Havering Chamber of Commerce, reflecting a commitment to the local business community across East London.

Through the company’s other trading businesses it is also a member of the Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce, the West London Chambers of Commerce, the Kingston Chamber of Commerce, the Bangor Chamber of Commerce in County Down, and the Ballymena Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry in County Antrim.

Mudassar is an ECB-qualified cricket coach and a volunteer and sponsor at Redbridge Cricket Club. He has also carried out Urdu translation work, including during the England Women vs Pakistan Women cricket tour.
