HM Land Registry ID1, ID2 and ID5 verification by a regulated solicitor

HM Land Registry asks for an ID1 form when no conveyancer is acting for you. For example, this happens when you transfer or gift a property. It also applies when you register a first title, or discharge a mortgage. Because the form protects against fraud, a qualified professional must confirm who you are.
